How To Raise Creative Children?
Pablo Picasso once said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”
Creativity comes to children naturally due to early inexperienced years of their lives. Their quest to find answers almost about everything they see happening, and their attempts to figure out best possible solutions to deal with the situation at hand, is what fuels their creative minds. Some children are more creative than the others of their age. But the good thing about creative thinking is that it could be fostered in every child by engaging him in various mental and physical activities which stimulate the mind and gives them the verve required to think creatively.
Knowing the fact that kids who are given unstructured time and lots of material to boost their imagination, Nordic International School has devised its curriculum around the psychology of a child’s mind. The play-based learning approach adopted by Nordic International School is just the right mechanism for inspiring children to be innovators.
The activities children do in their classrooms could be taken a step ahead at their homes under the guidance of their parents so that the creative side of the personality keeps developing.
